Joan Eve is a self taught cook, it has always been an interest since the days of watching her parents in the kitchen as a toddler. Being the youngest of 10 kids Joan Eve not only knows how to make large portions but she can make food dollars stretch. In school and at church Joan Eve would always involve herself in any cooking classes or activities available to her. Naturally as a young adult in the late 90's the restaurant and food industry seemed a natural fit for her just starting out. It was in the restaurants that Joan Eve began to really learn the most about cooking and food preparation, in general. Whether she was learning about how to make a dish because it seemed delicious or so that she could one day become the manager or even owner of an establishment was always on her mind! Upon giving birth to her third child Joan Eve decided that staying home with her children was important and returning to waitress wasn't her favorite option. She wanted to think of ways to make the household food stretch each week and bring in some extra money into the home and so "Ketchup in the Kitchen" was born, her fourth "baby".  Ketchup in the Kitchen will always have informative cooking segments that will have viewers wondering what is in store next?
